When Biggs blacked out, he woke up in a beach resort town incredibly confused. The others who'd collected there taught him a lot about the place, and that it was actually the 3rd "flux" they'd experienced. As it turned out, he was in a pocket dimension run by a very young entity that hadn't yet decided what it wanted to be.

History: Here is his Remake background.

He arrived in the Fluxscape when it was fronting as a beachfront resort town. There he learned of the multiverse and how alternate realities work. He also learned about people who have various powers, people who don’t even look human, and all sorts of things one encounters when traveling a multiverse. He learned how to adapt quickly to changing environments, as the place changed twice in the time he was there, from a vacation wonderland to a dead-end world with no future.

He didn't tend to trust many people there, but he did befriend one woman by the name of Jean Grey, who taught him about mutants and the X-Men, and also mentioned a Professor Xavier. He also learned about the Phoenix Force there, but doesn't know much about it (it's a little above his head). He did view one of her memories once, that involved her downing a plane aiming at bombing the X-Mansion, sacrificing the lives within. He didn't blame her for it, and admitted, given the circumstances, his decisions might have been the same.

Personality: Calm, rational, and thorough, Biggs is almost the polar opposite of the leader of Avalanche, Barrett. In a crisis, he can calmly evaluate a situation, picking it apart and establishing the best tactic for handling it. He really does think of everything (within reason) and does his best to prepare for every eventuality, going over things from every angle he can conceive of in order to determine the best decision. This tendency can manifest in a restless anxiety that forces him to re-evaluate even after plans are in action, or to retrace preparation steps to verify their integrity. He even puts his anxiety to work, though, using the nervous energy to get work done, whether it's cleaning up or working on a modification project.

Biggs is a man of convictions, though, and a man who can see the bigger picture. The ends justify the means, and that has resulted in his becoming what is essentially an ecoterrorist. While he knows things can get messy when you’re trying to make big changes, he believes that messiness and potential for collateral damage can be accepted within reasonable parameters for the greater good. Legality doesn’t enter into the equation if it means doing the right thing, even less so if it means putting a stop to things he feels are unjust, such as the bringing down of a fascist dictatorship that’s slowly destroying his planet. He also won’t hesitate to pull a trigger in a fight and sees nothing wrong with procuring supplies from those who have them, even if it means stealing them. The slums are a tough place to live and he understands necessity outweighs propriety.

While willing to do just about anything to see things taken care of, he is a very selfless man, more than willing to rush into the fray for a friend or loved one. Having no family of his own, he’s willing to lay down his life to protect his friends, Wedge and Jessie, and the people of Sector 7. He often gives up his free time to help serve in the Neighborhood Watch without payment, and even modified their weapons to be more effective against the fiends that wander around Midgar. Before his involvement in Avalanche, he even taught at the orphanage in the Sector 5 slums, where he was deeply admired and loved by the children and fellow teachers alike. The current teacher speaks of him out of awe as “one of a kind.”

With friends and acquaintances both, he’s easygoing in conversation and can be playful and teasing even in high-pressure situations. His attitude is often straight-forward and even-keeled, realistic rather than idealistic, and down to earth. He can be distrusting of outsiders, but isn’t afraid to give them a chance to prove themselves. He values loyalty in others as much as himself, and it’s a quick way into his good graces.

Abilities: Biggs has no special abilities to speak of, but he is a gifted strategist, has a talent for hacking computers, can modify and hobble together various weapons, is a talented marksman, and good at teaching, having earned the respect of both fellow teachers and students.
